- A Letter From 10 Property Owners Requesting the District
- Narrative on the History of the District
- A Photograph of Each Building
- Data Sheets on Each Building (including date of construction)
- Map of the proposed District Boundaries
- Zoning Code Recommendation Process- Dates to be announced
- Review by MNA Land Use Sub Committee
- Proposed Zoning Code posted to www.preservemidtownatlanta.org and www.midtownatlanta.org
- Electronic comments accepted
- Neighborhood Block meetings (written comments accepted)
- Revisions based on comments
- MNA Land Use Committee recommendation (public meeting)
- MNA Board recommendation (public meeting)
- Submit final package to AUDC
Phase 2 - Approval Process (3-4 months)
Upon submission of the nomination package, the AUDC does the following:
- Mail public notice of intent to nominate
- Publish notice in area newspapers
- Compile designation report
- Host AUDC public hearing (public meeting)
- Mail public notice of nomination decision
- City Council Zoning Committee vote to sponsor ordinance
- MNA recommendation to NPU-E (public meeting)
- NPU-E recommendation to Zoning Review Board (ZRB)(public meeting)
- Bureau of Planning review
- ZRB public hearing (public meeting)
- City Council Zoning Committee Action (public meeting)
- City Council Action (public meeting)
- Mayoral Action
- Public notice of decision to approve (if applicable)
